TURI began as a pioneer in the field of complexity science research in 1976, focused on the evolution of complex adaptive systems. It required changing the systemic research approaches because of the open boundaries and conjunction of the elements that integrate the adaptive systems.
Complexity research doesn’t allow making artificial experiments It requires making true activities while the structure of the solution is being researched and confirmed.
Thus a unicist ontological research methodology was developed and used after the ontogenesis of evolution was discovered.
This allowed dealing with adaptive systems as unified fields making their essential structures reasonable, understandable and provable. A standard for this approach became necessary.
The development of the Unicist Standard was possible due to the participation in the research of hundreds of institutions and companies and thousands of individuals since its beginning in 1976.
